Trust me; I know the pain of trying to get that beach bod we all lust after. With so many fad diets circling around, trying to get fit can seem like an overwhelming task. However, there are three important things that you need to do in order to get fit: change the way you eat, stay active, and be consistent. Beach Body can help you to do all three of these things, allowing you to finally get the body you’ve been dreaming of AND reduce your risk for cardiovascular disease! Win, win.

Changing the way you eat
Although eating well is only one part of getting fit, it is a highly important step in getting that beach body you want. It can be hard to count your own calories, trying to keep track of everything you eat per day. Beach body eliminates the need to count calories and instead provides you with an easy to follow plan. For even more weight loss, you can choose to take part in the Shakeology challenge, which replaces certain meals with delicious and nutritious shakes. Yum!

Staying active
I understand the difficulty of staying active when Netflix auto-plays the next episode and chocolate tastes like a gift from the heavens, but it’s a very important aspect to getting fit! Part of the Beach Body fitness challenge is the Beach Body fitness plan. If you don’t have a ton of time – separate them out into smaller workouts! They even have a hip-hop dancing one. Yes, please.

Remaining consistent
You can change the way you eat and start getting active but if you don’t remain consistent, you won’t keep it off. In fact, only 20% of people can lose weight and keep it off. I’m usually not in the 20%, people. As part of the Beach Body fitness challenge, you become part of a challenge group. Basically, you are encouraged to post daily on a private accountability to page with others who are working towards similar fitness goals. On this page, you’ll post about your eating habits and your workouts, holding yourself accountable while encouraging others to remain consistent as well. These groups can give you the support and motivation you need to keep going in your fitness journey! Friends don’t let friends watch two seasons of Friends when they could be getting their dream body!
