3. There are juices for you.
One of the most customizeable parts of vaping is the juice. E vape juice is the liquid that is vaporized and inhaled by the user, and there are some that would suit a smoker or former smoker. There is menthol e juice or tobacco flavored, and changing the amount of nicotine that you add to it can make it a pretty comparable experience to smoking a cigarette.
